Arbitration Suit Filed Today Against CFPB

Earlier today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, American Bankers Association, American Financial Services Association, Consumer Bankers Association, Financial Services Roundtable as well as multiple Texas Chambers of Commerce and other trade associations initiated a lawsuit against the CFPB challenging the Bureau’s anti-arbitration rule.  Attached is a copy of the final, as filed version of the complaint that was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division.  The judge initially assigned to the case is Judge Fitzwater, who was appointed to the federal bench by President Reagan.  The case number is: 3:17-cv-1670.
