January Meeting Recap

Integrity Title hosted a RESPRO Texas Chapter meeting on January 19, 2010.

About 20 title industry professionals were in attendance, representing industry segements such as agencies, underwriters, vendors, management and private consulting services.

Paul Cones provided a presentation on Affiliated Business from a title company perspective, allowing opportunity to those attending to offer questions and comments. Additional discussion was made on the new RESPA changes and Mark Hanna, RESPRO® Texas Chapter's counsel, provided a legislative update from Austin.

Among regular Chapter business, Doug Hollowell of Integrity Title, was nominated and elected President and Dave Ginger was re-elected Secretary/Treasurer.

Overall, the meeting was a fine success, with some attendees meeting new contacts and others getting the chance to see others they knew; all getting the chance to network with each other on matters related to Affiliated Business in Texas.
