 RESPRO® Colorado Chapter is looking for volunteer board members! 

• 6 board positions open up each year, with the 7th being held by the immediate past president. 
• Board members attend a monthly meeting, typically including lunch, held in a central location to plan the year’s activities and to discuss current legislative and regulatory issues facing AfBA’s in Colorado.
• The board is elected by the membership and will be seated at the first meeting of the year (January) appointing at that time the 2011 officers.

By being part of this group of dedicated professionals, you have the opportunity to learn how to operate a compliant AfBA and influence positions being taken that directly affect the operation of your AfBA business. 

Over the past several years a number of anti-AfBA bills, most notable of which are SB-220 and SB-249, have been defeated or significantly amended to eliminate anti-AfBA provisions in the Colorado legislature due in large part to the efforts of RESPRO and it’s members. 

Today, the Chapter remains an influential source of knowledge and experience for its members by holding regular board and membership meetings, hosting periodic educational conferences, participating in various Colorado Division of Insurance Task Forces and Councils, along with hosting an annual Golf Tournament and benefit for a local charity. Members are always encouraged to attend monthly meetings to comment on regulatory and legislative proposals.
