James Lamphere

Vice President, Title and Escrow

As vice president of Title and Escrow Services for HomeServices of America, Jim is responsible for growing the HomeServices Title and Closing Network including workflow, technology and establishing new business opportunities for the network. He serves as the HomeServices liaison with both the American Land Title Association and the federal and state legislative bodies on title industry-related issues and concerns affecting our title and escrow companies. He is the primary resource for the HomeServices divisions, departments and executive leadership team on title and escrow matters.

 

Prior to HomeServices, Jim served as president of Nebraska Land Title & Abstract from 1998, where he was responsible for the underwriting decisions and management of one of the largest title operations in Southeast Nebraska. Lamphere is a licensed Attorney in Nebraska, a past member of the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Land Title Association and a past President of the Association.

 

Jim earned his undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, Cum Laude. He resides in Minneapolis with his wife, Amy.

Stuart Elsea

Stuart Elsea has served as President – Financial Services for the Real Estate One Family of Companies since 1998. He and his brother, Dan, share leadership of the company. This is the third generation of Elseas to manage the company started by Staunton Elsea in 1929 as Elsea Realty. It is family owned and Michigan based.

 

Stuart received his B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State and his MBA in Finance at Miami University. He has held many positions, including Sales Associate, Branch Manager, Vice President, and now President.

 

Stuart and his wife Judy reside in Clarkston, Michigan.  They have two adult sons.  He enjoys boating, exercising, reading, and golf.

 

Stuart has a special passion for the Real Estate One Charitable Foundation which supports Special Olympics of Michigan, Multiple Sclerosis, Leukemia Lymphoma, Alzheimer’s, Forgotten Harvest and Third Level Crisis Center. Encouraging involvement both financially and by volunteering, Stuart leads by example, giving many hours of his time to these charities. Employees of the Real Estate One Family of Companies are encouraged to take one day with pay each year to volunteer as well as to contribute with fund raisers and payroll deductions which support these organizations.

 

Stuart serves on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He is a strong supporter of RPAC and a member of the RPAC Hall of Fame.  Stuart is a member of The Realty Alliance and a Board Member of RESPRO.

Ken Trepeta, Esq.

RESPRO®

 

Ken Trepeta became President and Executive Director of RESPRO® in July of 2015.  Prior to joining RESPRO®, Ken served as Director of Real Estate Services for the National Association of Realtors® and in other roles at NAR for nearly a decade.  He covered the broader real estate industry acting as liaison to senior executives at large real estate firms and their affiliated businesses.  He was also NAR’s in house RESPA expert. 

 

Ken worked in government affairs for five years prior to joining NAR as a vice president at both JP Morgan Chase and representing the CEOs of the largest financial services firms in the world at the Financial Services Forum where he worked on tax, banking, housing, legal reform, and retirement security issues.   

 

In 2001 and 2002 Ken was the Deputy Executive Director of the Commission on Affordable Housing and Health Facility Needs for Seniors in the 21st Century. Ken spent more than five years as counsel to Representative Rick Lazio (R-NY), joining the Congressman’s staff in 1995. He handled special projects, the full span of public policy issues and teamed with the Congressman's legislative staff to develop and secure appropriations projects.

Ken has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Political Science, and Law and Society from Binghamton University (SUNY Binghamton, 1992). He has a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law (1995) and is a member of the bar in New York and the District of Columbia.

F. Duffy Hanna is the President of Barristers Land Abstract Company, which is Howard Hanna Real Estate Services’ wholly owned the title and escrow company.  Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is the 4th largest real estate brokerage firm in the United States and the largest privately held, full-service real estate company in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and New York.  Specializing in residential, commercial, mortgage, title and insurance brokerage services, Howard Hanna delivers services through its 119 offices in 55 counties in 4 states and employs more than 4,000 sales associates and staff.

 

Duffy received his undergraduate degree from The Catholic University of America and received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.   He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

 

After graduating from law school, Duffy spent 4 years at the law firm of Doepken, Keevican & Weiss as a member of their Corporate and Real Estate Group., handling and structuring complex mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts and large commercial real estate transactions.  Duffy then joined his family business becoming Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Barristers Land Abstract and Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.  

 

Duffy also serves the community through his many civic involvements.   He serves as Chairman, St. Anthony Programs; sits on the board of Girls Hope, Pittsburgh and served as Chairman of the 2009 Central Catholic Viking Victory Auction.  

 

Duffy, his wife Dana and their two sons, reside in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania.  

 

 

Scott McCall joined TRG in 2009 and is the Chief Executive Officer of Title Resource Guaranty Company (TRGC). In this capacity, he is responsible for identifying and prioritizing expansion opportunities for TRGC across the United States. In addition to this role Scott works with our Senior Leadership Team across business channels to bring lender, builder and other third party business to TRG and its affiliates.

 

Prior to his tenure at TRG, Scott worked as Senior Vice President of National Agency Operations for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation and LandAmerica Financial Group in Richmond, VA. During his 22 year tenure, he held a number of executive positions of increasing responsibility, including SVP of National Lender Operations, SVP of the Midwest Region, VP and Florida State Manager as well as led their Commercial Operations out of Boston, MA.

 

Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor Degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is a member of the Florida and Virginia Bar and a current member of Leadership Metro Richmond, a community service program that seeks to advance the Richmond, VA region by educating, energizing and connecting a diverse group of local leaders to serve the community.

 

Scott resides in Richmond, VA, with his wife and two children.

Barbara Griest is President of Trident Land Transfer Company, the title insurance agency and affiliated title operation for Fox & Roach Realtors, a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Company located in Devon, Pennsylvania. Ms. Griest has been with TLTC for 30 years. Her responsibilities include managing the Conveyancing Dept. for Fox & Roach as well as the title operation, overseeing over 200 employees.

 

Trident is located in the greater Philadelphia area with offices in Southeastern Pa., New Jersey and Delaware and the Lehigh Valley.  In 2016, TLTC closed over 12,000 real estate transactions totaling in excess of $4.2 billion.

 

Prior to joining Trident she started and ran a mortgage operation for Hoopes, Inc, Better Homes and Gardens located in Chester County for three years.  Ms. Griest started her career as a Commercial Loan Assistant at Hamilton Bank in West Chester, Pa.

 

Ms. Griest has been a member of the Board of the Real Estate Service Providers Counsel (RESPRO) for 11 years and served as the 2013 Vice Chair of RESPRO and the 2014 Chair.  She, currently, serves on the Executive Committee as the Secretary.  RESPRO is located in Washington D.C.

 

Ms. Griest is also a member of the Pennsylvania Home Builders Association, the Realty Alliance, and the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Land Title Associations. She serves on the Finance Committee for the Pennsylvania Land Title Association and the Government Affairs Committee and the GAC Consumer Experience Committee for the American Land Title Association.  She has also organized and run the national annual title meetings for The Realty Alliance Title Affiliates from 2010 to 2017.

The Long & Foster Companies are comprised of Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., the largest and most respected privately-owned real estate company in America, Prosperity Mortgage Company, Long & Foster Insurance Agency, Inc., and Long & Foster Settlement Services.

 

Mr. Eastment received his MBA from The Darden School in Charlottesville, Va. He was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1970, and served as a platoon commander in Vietnam. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y. he and his wife, Tina, reside in Warrenton, Va. They have a son,Scott.

 

 

 

 

 

President of Long & Foster® Companies, Affiliated Businesses. Wilson has more than 25 years of management experience and expertise in the mortgage industry.

 

Most recently, Wilson served as Executive Vice President and Director of Retail and Wholesale Lending for Wachovia, where he was responsible for managing field origination of 2,500 field loan officers nationwide. Wilson served on the Board of Directors of Wachovia Mortgage and was a member of Wachovia Mortgage Diversity Council.

 

Prior to Wachovia, Wilson was Group Senior Vice President for Golden West Financial. In that capacity, he managed the national loan organization which included over 1,500 loan representatives, as well as the national appraisal and underwriting organization. Other previous positions include Internal Auditing for United Missouri Bank, as well as various loan original positions.

Wilson is a graduate of Washburn University, Topeka, KS

 

With over 20 years industry experience as a Senior Executive, Lynette currently oversees the Western U.S. for Wintrust Mortgage. 

 

Prior to joining Wintrust, Lynette was President of Capstone Direct and has held senior level positions with various national entities including Tenura Real Estate Holdings, PNC Bank, Prospect Mortgage (formerly Metrocities Mortgage).  She holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License, a National Mortgage Originator’s License and serves on the Executive Committee and the Board for the Real Estate Services Providers Council (RESPRO), as well as Chairman of the Programs and Education Committee.  Lynette has been actively involved with RESPRO since 1999, at which time, upon joining Lynette ran National Production and Sales Support for over 200 Joint Ventures across the country.  She is a published author and has done public speaking, consulting, and served on panels to serve the industry being particularly passionate about serving and educating consumers and industry professionals. 

 

Lynette graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Management, Marketing & Sociology from University of Northern Colorado.  Outside of work she stays busy being involved in year-round youth sports with her two boys.
